About USA Lottery Reviews

Why this site exists

Americans spend more than $100 billion a year on lottery tickets, and almost none of the information about those products comes from anyone other than the people selling them. Odds are printed in small type, claim rules and tax treatment change at every state line, and a growing number of apps and sweepstakes sit in legal grey areas that most players never hear about.

USA Lottery Reviews exists to put the facts in one place, sourced and dated, and to rate every option on the same rubric so you can compare a state lottery, a courier app and a house raffle on equal terms.

How the work is done

Reviews are edited by Daniel Whitfield, the site's editor. Daniel Whitfield is an editorial byline: it names the person accountable for the site's content, and it is not a claim of any professional qualification. Every review is produced using the process described in how we rate: collect the primary documents, build a fact sheet with a source for every number, score six criteria with a written justification each, and re-verify on a schedule. Pages carry an organisation byline rather than individual names because every review passes through the same checks and the rubric, not a person, decides the score.

What we do not do

• We do not sell lottery tickets, sweepstakes entries or anything else.
• We do not run draws or promotions of our own.
• We do not accept payment, free entries or review access from any brand we cover.
• We do not use affiliate links. See the advertising disclosure.
• We do not publish user reviews or testimonials. Every rating on the site is editorial and explained.
