How Dream Giveaway car sweepstakes work, and the free way to enter
Dream Giveaway runs charity car giveaways. Here is how a draw works, what its rules say about odds, and how to enter by mail without paying.

Dream Giveaway is a car giveaway business run by FN Funding, Inc., doing business as Dream Giveaway, based in Largo, Florida. The sponsor and beneficiary is New Beginning Children’s Homes, Inc., a 501(c)(3) charity. The company runs more than one car giveaway at a time, and each draw has its own rules. Our full profile is in the Dream Giveaway review.
The prize in the example draw
The example in our data is draw 212, a 2026 Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing with a manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) of $116,340. The rules also state $31,000 toward federal prize tax. The draw is scheduled for 18 November 2026. Check the official rules for the draw you want, because each one sets its own closing time and terms.
How the odds are stated
The rules give the odds as 1 divided by the total number of valid tickets entered. That is a clear formula, but it has a practical limit. The number of tickets is not known until the giveaway closes, so you cannot know your exact odds before you enter. The rules tell you how the odds are calculated. They do not tell you how many people will enter.
The free way to enter
Entry is free by mail. To enter, you send a self-addressed stamped envelope to New Beginning Children’s Homes, following the steps in the rules. The rules say that no purchase, contribution, donation or payment is necessary to enter. Paid ticket prices were not verified in our research, so we do not describe what a paid entry costs.
Some practical points:
- Read the entry instructions in the rules before you post anything.
- Send only what the rules ask for, and keep a copy of what you sent.
- Mail early, so your envelope arrives in time for the draw you want.
Who can enter
Entrants must be 18 or older and live in the United States or Canada. Quebec is excluded. Winners are drawn by an independent auditing firm, which separates the drawing from the operator. That is a useful safeguard, although we found little outside record of past winners.
Tax on a car win
The rules say that Dream Giveaway pays part of the federal prize tax. In the example draw that part is $31,000. The rest of the tax is the winner’s responsibility. For how prize tax works in general, see our guide on lottery taxes explained.
Before you enter
A free mail entry costs little, but it needs care. Treat the odds as unknown until the draw closes. Read the full rules for the draw, including the prize description and the tax terms. Keep your records. If a winning result matters to your finances, speak with a tax professional about your own position.
