Who it’s for

Jackpot.com is for players in its seven states who want a second courier option and are prepared to check fees themselves. It is a smaller operation than the leading apps, and the information it publishes about costs is thinner. If you want a courier with a full fee table, Lotto.com is the clearer comparison.

As with any courier, you are buying a service, not a ticket. The app orders an official state lottery ticket for you.

How it works

The US app is operated by Lottomatrix Corp, according to its App Store listing. It covers New York, New Jersey, Ohio, Massachusetts, Arizona, Arkansas and Colorado, and it offers digital scratch-offs in Massachusetts, Ohio, Arizona and Colorado. The age limit is 18, or 21 in Arizona. We verified the iOS App Store listing only.

The international site is a separate business. Its help centre names Lottomatrix Operations Limited of Malta, licensed by the Malta Gaming Authority under licence MGA/B2C/362/2016. That licence relates to the international site, not to the US app, so it is no substitute for a US state courier licence. Jackpot.com is also an Associate Member of NASPL.

Odds and value

The odds are those of the official games. Powerball is 1 in 292,201,338 for the jackpot and 1 in 24.87 for any prize. Mega Millions is 1 in 290,472,336 and 1 in 23. Millionaire for Life is 1 in 22,910,580 and 1 in 8.46.

What we cannot give you is the price. Fees are not published on the app listing, and users report deposit fees. Jackpot.com says it never charges commission on prizes, but a commission-free prize does not tell you what the ticket cost to buy. Check the total at checkout before you pay.

Trust and regulation

Jackpot.com is operated by Lottomatrix Corp, whose headquarters and founding year are not published on the pages we checked. We did not find a US state courier licence stated for it in our data, so we cannot say it is licensed the way Lotto.com and Jackpocket are in New York and New Jersey. Ask the app or check with your state lottery.

The Texas episode is part of the record. A January 2025 release listed eight states, including Texas. The Texas Lottery Commission banned lottery couriers on 24 Feb 2025, according to NBC News, so that listing was overtaken. We report that as a matter of public record, not as a finding about the company’s conduct.

Claiming prizes and taxes

Prizes up to $600 are credited to your account, or up to $500 in Arkansas. Larger prizes are claimed under state rules. Jackpot.com says it never charges commission on prizes. A help article on its site says winners can claim anonymously, but anonymity is set by state law, so it is conditional. Check your state page for the real position, and read our guides before a large claim.

Playing online

The app is online only, and the iOS listing is the one we verified. We did not confirm an Android version. Helpline support is available at 1-800-GAMBLER. We did not confirm a self-exclusion tool in the app.

If your state offers an official online lottery, compare it. PA iLottery and Virginia Lottery Online show what a state account offers.

Our take

Jackpot.com is a niche courier app with commission-free prizes and a focus on a few states. Its weakness is information: no published fees, a thinner licensing picture and a Texas listing that the ban overtook. We would treat it as a second choice behind a courier that shows its costs or an official state app, and we would check the checkout price on every order.
