Which states sell lottery tickets online
Online lottery sales are legal only where the state allows them, and the rules differ widely: some states sell every draw game online, some sell only subscriptions or instant games, and some sell nothing outside a retailer. Courier apps are a separate question, covered on each state page.
Quick answer: of 29 verified states, 15 have Yes, online sales (Connecticut, District of Columbia, Georgia, Illinois, Kansas, Kentucky and 9 more).

- Method
- Each figure was read from an official page: the state lottery, its regulator, state statute, the state revenue department, or the IRS. We list a figure only if we read it on such a page.
